For the average person, who uses their computer for basic needs (email, browsing, writing papers, FaceTime, etc.), this is a perfectly capable laptop.

This is $230 cheaper than the brand new MacBook air m4. A three generation newer laptop for barely anything more, that comes with double the ram.
