Same..I bought both open box and pre-owned like new on the last deal. The pre-owned was $269 and was in better condition and with only 1 battery cycle. Ended up returning the open box. Excellent deal..love mine so far!

I got mine a couple weeks ago and am very happy with it. It was in an old MBA box with a hole in it, but looks new and only had one battery cycle. Also runs smoothly for my limited use of word processing and browsing with many tabs open. Has a few months Apple warranty left.
