I'm not sure where you're coming from with this but typically things don't go down in price over time. factoring inflation, it's surprising it's still at this price point.

This is the best $100 chair you can get new. If you're over 70" tall, make sure to do the headrest mod to make this more comfortable.

this chair is great own 3. it's my daily driver at work. doesn't sag owned it for 8-10 years. only complaint one makes a clicking noise when reclining. it's not annoying for me in office due to nosie but at home it's like ugh. maybe the tolerance is too tight. it's not the most plush or enjoyable thing to shit on. arm rest are kinda hard but I use it 6-8 hours easily. if I had my dream chair I would have softer arm rests but a towel wrapped around the arm rest take care of that matter and you can do the cool trick to flip around the head rest for taller people. it's lightweight and sturdy this is a no brainer buy. you won't regret it and if you do need to sell it's so cheap and should move fast.

This chair is for the budget oriented person who's dipping into working from home. The problem with this chair is that the mesh seat starts sagging after year one (1). The locking points are not great as well. I was comfortable buying a new Hyken every year but I'm getting too old for that. Recently upgraded to a Steelseries (Leap/Amia) and I don't expect to buy another chair for atleast five (5) years.
I agree 100%. The mesh starts sagging and it becomes unusable. The sagging starts earlier if you're 190+lbs. We purchased 2 one for my wife who is under 120lbs and my fat ass that's 205lbs. Her chair started becoming unusable right around the 2yr mark while my chair was showing signs of sag at 10months.

I purchased one of those Purple brand seat cushion knock-offs to extend usable life but that only helped extend an extra 6months. I finally bit the bullet and purchased remanufactured Leap V2's from Crandall for ~ $680 each. I'm confident I won't need to purchase a new chair for at least another 10 years (through warranty period). All while being A LOT more comfortable.

Use case: Work at home office full day with a sit/stand desk (mostly sitting Smilie ).

If you're over 5ft 10, STAY AWAY. I am 6 ft and the headrest of this chair hits me in the upper back and kills my posture.

Used Herman Miller chairs are the real slick deal. $200-400 locally for a $1400 chair that lasts 25 years and is comfortable for 12 hours a day.
I hear they have the Dexley for that exact reason.

My experience is vastly different. I've had mine for 7+ years. No sagging, but the armrest is a little beat-up from my abuse.

I've had this chair for 6 years now. Been through 3 different moves. Very comfortable as long as you sit properly. Would buy this again any day

I didn't get the coupon by email or the spin wheel for my new account sign up. Am I doing something wrong? How long until the email comes through?

I'm not a big guy, but I barely fit in it. I wish I get a bit bigger chair.

go to the buildapcsales sub and this chair has been in the low $100s as far back as 10 years agoi doubt the design or materials have improved in the last 10 years this chair should only be $50 or less new now

Prices went down when germany overthrow its corrupt government. The they became the richest nation; were looted ; an still rebuilt back to the richest nation in a year after shedding that government. Usually takes a year in a lot of history I see; but with the establishment of the USA it was rather rapid how fast prices fell when the founding fathers destroyed the empire for a tax on drugs (caffine) . The French got cash back rebates along side lower prices when they dealt with the rich. China had to industrialize first after the Mao Takeover ; but eventually they became the only nation that is building the modern world. I bet if Washington came back an made all those people making money off the drug taxes sell their mansions cars prices would drop.

Recommendation based on personal experience: go to the store and sit in it befoe you buy it. This chair while uncomfortable for me has become my kid's daily driver.

When I was a kid I sometimes slept on 3 boards across a bed frame with no mattress;me and my friends were like "hell yeah you got a bunk bed". I also had a 4 inch black an white tv an it was pretty rad as back then kids didn't own tvs. These mesh chairs are garbage. Hot product because it's 10 cents of mesh they can sell to people for a 100 thousand percent markup.
