So 3 IPhone SE gold 64gb showed up on brickseek at my local Walmart for $229 each. I checked Walmart's site and it showed not available. I decided to roll the dice and see if actually had it.

Long story short, they did, but the electronics lady said I had to wait for the cell guy, so I told her I was buying it straight up. She said it was $549, I told her scan it and sure enough it came up $229. She said it had to be a price mistake and called a manager who took the phone and said they would investigate. I stood there thinking my chances were slim if getting it now. After ten minutes and no sign of the manager, I asked the lady to look to see if there was another and there was just one more. I made small talk and eventually talked her into selling it to me. I asked her to check if they had anymore in the system and she looked it up and showed just the one I was about to buy. I asked her what happened to the that manager walked off with. She searched found out that someone had just bought it. This is not the first time that I helped a Walmart employee get a slick deal. The lady was super mad and said she was going to report it. The manager apparently went on lunch and bought the phone.

I got one, so I'm not too mad.

I had taken a picture of the barcode from BS and ran it under their price checker to make sure it was $25 before I picked it up. Then at pickup, the register told the Walmart employee I was due a refund when she scanned it. But it happens automatically, I didn't say or do anything.

You will be refunded the difference but not because of savings catcher. All same-day pickup orders automatically adjust to store price. Anything not same day pickup will not adjust.

I did same-day pickup, but I received an email saying my order has been delayed a couple days. Will I still receive the adjustment?

Probably not. It probably means they are shipping it to the store.

Brickseek said x2 Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 at local walmart for $49. Went there, found x2 and checkout rang up $159 each. Grrr. I tried.

You should report the manager just on principle. Lying and saying they dont have it is one thing, walking off with something youre about to buy so they can buy it? Go in and talk to store manager

I actually had the manager at Staples yank a laptop out of my hand. She stated it was "defective" and walked off with it. Later that evening I went back in and the tech guy told me it had been sold.

To everyone who is posting how BS is wrong because your WalMart has a different price.....

JUST STOP, seriously.

When you go into your store, you need to make sure the item you're scanning is the correct item. The best way to do this is to make sure the UPC, which is provided by BS, matches the one on the box you're scanning.

Just because you pick up a box that says Netgear Nighthawk AC1900, it doesn't mean it's the correct item. AC1900 is just the rating. There are different model #s....R7000 and R6900.

If you are just grabbing the item from the shelf in the usual section without even looking around for clearance sections you are probably grabbing the wrong item. ALL you have to do is look at the UPC on BS and make sure it's same as on the box.

Quit being lazy and clogging up these threads with your whining.

And I do understand not everyone is a pro with these deals, etc. But I see some people mention how many times BS has "screwed" them, and all this does is confuse others.

I pay the monthly sub to BS and check it often, and have bought many deals it notified me about. I don't think I've ever had a situation where an item scanned at a different price in the store than BS showed, assuming I had the correct item and the correct barcode was scanned (the actual UPC..not a yellow clearance sticker etc).

I'm sure glitches happen but ultimately BS pulls the data from WM itself.
