This is why I prefer a return/re-buy, since at least the original amount(including the proper sales tax) is refunded to my card FIRST and then I can re-buy at the lower amount with the lower tax amount.

No hassle dealing with customer service idiots for hours.

Just dealing with the in person customer service idiots vs the ones on the phone.
Especially when they tell you they can't do it because that unit has to ship back to the factory cause it was bought on walmart.com.

That's why I never answer PM's from people I haven't messaged myself. I had to get into that habit from numerous newbies asking me for practically step by step instructions on how to do a return/re-buy or asking me to search for low prices(even though I don't have a script).

I've also made it a habit of checking people's posting histories. If I see a lot of questions being asked and that they haven't tried to help out by posting deals for others to get in on then I ignore them. Big Grin

I have a question guys now on Walmart's website when you go to order an item for store pickup that is out of stock on their website used to you could still order for store pickup but now when you search a store that has it in stock it says "see dates at checkout" and doesn't let you order it says notify me when available instead of checkout is there anyway around this? It seems like Walmart changed something on their website it didn't used to do this a few weeks ago ?? Thanks for any help

Read through these threads? Use Brickseek extensively with the usually 8 digit Walmart online SKU's to check pricing in your local stores and compare them to what the MSRP should normally be?

That's how I've found multiple deals. You have to be willing to put in the work to get the deals. Wink

I scoured the Walmart website looking up items I wanted to find a deal on, got the 8 digit online SKU's and then used Brickseek to see if my local stores had them for cheaper than retail. Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't. You just have to be persistent.

I will add Philips Hue starter kit white (hub and 2 bulbs) for 35 dlls, got it yesterday at walmart in irving tx
