Discover will accept claims with out of stock screenshots, providing they can verify the price. I haven't had any issues when matching to a store where I live no where near. Others have matched out of state screenshots as well.

There's tons of the same type questions being asked and same type answers being given all throughout this site, so I don't see the problem in answering someones message real quick but to each their own I guess.

It definitely helps your chances if you are willing to put in the work to cut/paste SKU's into Brickseek and other stock checkers to cross reference the pricing and stock levels.

Apparently not valid enough for them, since they(like many lurkers/newbies) expect you to do all the legwork FOR them and do it with a smile without giving them any push back because 'this site is about people helping each other'. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

But I bet if you check all these special snowflakes posting histories you'll see a common pattern, that being them asking questions and not really helping anybody but themselves by posting deals OTHERS can get in on.

I wasn't disagreeing with the other guy that you CAN get these clearance deals.

While you may be able to snag these in your area, not everyone has that luxury. I have to go nearly 30 miles out just to hit a few more stores and also my area doesn't seem to carry many, if any, of the usual clearance deals for electronics.

I've managed to get some of the non electronic clearance deals. I always check my local clearance shelves whenever I'm picking something up there, so I do try to put in legwork. I am usually pretty busy being self employed so I don't constantly scan SKUs on brickseek. That's why I come here to try to snag a decent deal for something I actually want and in return help some people if I can.

But yes, I get what you are saying. And yeah I usually leave the Walmart Store Page tab up and just refresh every now and again and resort by newest deals. Nearly all the clearance deals which don't require any sort of price protection are posted there with YMMV or sometimes the word clearance in the title. You can either scan the deals with your eyeballs or CTRL+F for the YMMV deals.

This was just my observation regarding the price protection direction of this thread vs people simply posting clearance deals here.

Thanks! I have a New 2 Me Home , which is under construction or rather being gutted. I buy w hopes of using deals and I have not installed cable to try it out. I believe four items w connect, no LAN or major sharing but, who knows...lol. Home is mid size but ill take your "buy and go for it" advice. Thanks for the response.
BTW: shouldn't all slickdealers have a Discover card? Kohl's free $10- every month, cashback and PP... awesome

I dont understand your point. You just defined what a YMMV deal is, I know what it is. BTW you wouldnt believe how much clearance items I have bought from walmart these past few months so yeah its definitely possible to find these deals.

Its very simple everyone the title of the thread is "Walmart Clearance YMMV Mega Thread"

All im saying is 90% of the posts in probably the last 20+ pages have to do with price protection, seems like there could be a thread just for that

Yo can someone add me as an authorized user on their Discover card so i can do a DPP?

Also, this page already has 2 posts, and i am NOT reading 3 or more posts back, my time is just too valuable. so can someone tell me how to initiate a DPP? Surely someone out there has plenty of time to hold my hand through this.
