I really wish BB would sell the 16GB variants. 8GB is ok for most use cases, but anyone working with RAW photos will quickly wish they had more memory.

Same chip but pro has fans but in real life the fans almost never turn on unless performing super intensive tasks.

using mine right now. But mine has def got significantly sluggish whenI have too many tabs. And battery is dying faster even after I replaced it. Still really good for an almost 7 year old laptop

U have no idea how powerful the m1 chip is with 8gb ... I was thinking the same thing as you ... I went from a 32gb 2015 MacBook pro to m1 and I must tell u the difference is very little. I am a software engineer for profession btw and I run very heavy apps for my work on the m1 air and it eats it like a champ
