My gut feel of a big, steaming deuce was correct it seems. "Apple and Costco did a study". I heard Mary had a little lamb as well. Good stuff.

Congratulations! I bought it, but then decided to return it. I feel like an @sshole. I hate to return things especially after I've f*cking opened them and used them. Granted I haven't touched the power supply or MagSafe cable. And I have the paper wrap and the thin screen protector that it ships with.
I ended up going for a 10-core, 16GB, 1TB. Bought from Apple through their education store, AND got a $150 gift card. Picked up in person yesterday. Also bought crApple Care+ for it because they give you 20% off in the education store.
I "love" Best Buy, and try to buy from them over Amazon, NewEgg, etc. So I hate to return this opened MB Pro to them. But I guess, on the other hand, that's how the "system" works. Return policies are so f*cking liberal in the US.
It's amazing, isn't it?? This is my first new laptop in ~10 years LOL. My work machine is an M1 Max 32GB 16". So I was already familiar with the display, keyboard, etc. 14" will be the perfect size to have around the house, take on trips, etc. and I can always plug in to the dock to use a large screen + mouse + keyboard. Anyway, enjoy your machine! Hell of a price!
