Productivity is very subjective. Old school .exes, you're better off with Windows, but if you're not living in the 90s, most things run in a browser these days.

Okay, I'll bite. Find me a PC with the same horse power comparable CPU, 16/512, 1000 nits display with Mini OLED. 120Hz refresh rates, stereo speaker. Also, while we are at it let's get one so it's not made out of cheap plastic.

90 days return policy, if there is a new one in the next few months you can take it back no question ask.

Just keep in mind, warranty doesn't mean accidental. That's what Apple Care is for, you can throw into a fire or a pool and they will give you a new one with some deductable.

I got one Saturday, and my local Bestbuy said they were moving fast. Total tech adds the AppleCare coverage, so that is a plus as well. I was trying to see if the. M2 Air would be a better buy, but after adding the ram and ssd upgrade and the AppleCare, it was 1662 + taxes. Yes, there is a $150 gift card, but I have nothing I need that for. That and the M1Pro is still better than the M2, so this is indeed a good buy. Costco is as well if you have their card that extends the warranty.

Bestbuy did the price match for me as a courtesy and give me $100 gift card, although my order return window was closed last weekend. I did this in store and talked to store manager nicely. No harm to try if you value that $100, but YMMV

Saw this on my checkout: 15% back in rewards on your first day of purchases when approved for the My Best Buy® Credit Card.

So that's just reward points, correct? Not cash back or can you cash back later? If not, what can you use the rewards point for?

I am not sure if you willfully or inadvertently ignored what I said but I did talk about sales tax.

There are over 19 000 (Nineteen Thousand) Cities in the United States. If even your point were sustainable for cities alone (it is not, more later), 38 out of 19 000 is 0.002 or two tenths of a percent. Since it's not restricted to just cities but really is localities at large, some of which include cities, others county-wide, the reality of what I says is even more precise for you to consider.

So what are you going to say for the other 18 960+ cities not covered?

Sales taxes comprise of general not specific revenue for local governments. General revenue does not go to funding infrastructure projects, they go to things like maintenance, venue and event funding, sheriff and DA funding, health and welfare funding and other things like optional funding, transportation funding or even things like city or county funds among various other items I didn't list.

Unless a sales tax specifically calls for (as in is set forth in legislation) it goes into general revenue funding for a locality. This is a critical distinction you should understand.

Please stop the myth of how things are funded at local, state and even federal levels. One of the most repeated lies in this country is how people think things are paid for by taxes when it's clear they have no idea at all; they repeat falsehoods they hear from others or simply misinterpret what they see online.
