Alan doesn't run, he walks slowly with a flashlight.
FYI, this isn't the 14.5" OLED version you seem to have, this is the larger 16" version with IPS 1920x1200. That's part of why it's so much cheaper than the ~$1200 the 14.5" is currently selling for.
Nice, but yearly membership fee is $49 :-(((

Jarrod has it <8% at 1080p... which I think is where most people will be playing newer games. I'd pick a 4060 over a 3070 Ti anyway, if the laptops were otherwise the same.
1080p isn't as relevant. Even the base model Legion here is 1920x1200. I see far more 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 laptops with those GPUs. In either case, the 1440p comparison is going to give the most GPU-limited scenarios, which is what we should be concerned with when comparing performance. With so much uproar over the 4070 and 3070 Ti being similar in performance, it should stand to reason that the 4060 and 3070 Ti show similar differentiation.

Now if you're arguing that you'd rather have a 4060 for the power draw and feature set, that's fair.

Oh. That was weeks back, wasn't it? Slipped my mind.
Yep, last month, its been back on sale but at $1100 two weeks ago instead of $1000. Hoping a BF deal on it under $1000.

I bought this laptop put a second SSD 4x4 1TB and two sticks of 16gb DDR5 4800 cl 34 RAM and it has run every game I've thrown at it on high and ultra settings, I was able to score it for 648$ open box at bestbuy. I love this laptop for the price!
I have this one from the BB open box and I like it. I only play Fortnite with an Asus 4k 144 mhz monitor. I play on performance mode at 144 fps, 4k, vsync on, distance Epic, and textures high(Epic has epic turned off for now) and it only takes 70-80 watts. If uncapped it looks like it could push 240 fps much of the time. Looks good with Ray tracing and DLSS balanced at around 70 fps. If I didn't want 4k for other things I would probably like this laptop with a 2k 240hz external monitor for gaming.

I use performance mode in Vantage which took some work to get turned on and GPU will go to 110 watts in this mode if needed. I haven't tried any of the overclocking but it appears to be available within Vantage and Nvidia settings.

If you haven't undervolted your CPU and GPU, I'd highly recommend that. +10% performance inprovement at least. OC the vram as much as possible.
I did undervolting and didn't feel it made too much of a difference.
