Great info, thanks for the link. This wedge style Air design seems to be living on forever, really goes to show how solid the design was 10+ years ago that it stands the test of time (but in reality, it's a laptop so how revolutionary can the design be).

My DD wanted one, so planning to buy one for her Birthday. Has anyone bought /used a Gold color MacBook? Do you recommend it or is Silver better? We already have the grey color at home.

I am using gold currently…. I would prefer gold over other 2 colors for sure.

Costco has the same notebook at a slightly higher price of $50 more, but with rewards and tax the difference came down to about $25 for me. Having a bit of a longer return window might be worth that little bit of extra cost.

Finally, after 2+ years of people posting a new 8GB M1 MacBook Air as a 'deal' for $750, we actually have a relative deal at $700.
