I currently use wireless G602 but the slight lag from the wireless connection, for whatever reason, throws me off. The extra side buttons I use for PUBG mostly and would like at least 4 side buttons to 1)toggle firing mode 2) extend mini map 3)open/close big fullscreen map 4) misc/comm wheel
I also have the Deathadder V2 that was a from a Costco Gift bundle and it's still basically brand new. I use it now and then but the shape is not best for me although I like the smoothness, responsiveness, and the lightweight of the mouse. The Deathadder only has 2 side buttons which puts me at a disadvantage when gaming.
Sufficient buttons for all my Fortnite builds. My only complaint is probably just a me thing - it is very easy to bump the DPI buttons accidentally. It is also easy, if startled in-game, to bump the button that unlocks the scroll wheel.
Speaking of the scroll wheel, that is a really cool feature. It goes from "clicking" through incremental amounts like a normal scroll wheel to completely free spinning (like the price is right). Imagine the hilarity if you set the scroll wheel to your fire button in game. Or how fast you can get through a long document.
Where can you order the replacement Japanese switches?
Also, logitech pretty much owns me with infinite scroll, I literally can't buy another brand due to this one single feature sadly. Now just hope they make better Ghub because that is garbage
Cons are that it's hard to get dust or other stuff out of the multiple areas it builds up more so than other mice. It can also be a bit heavy even without the extra weights they provide. The newer version also doesn't have the braided cord the original G502 had.

the mouse sometimes gets these issues. But the customer service is totally the BEST. They've replaced my mouse with bare minimum questions, 3 times over 2yrs as G502 has 2yrs warranty.

This looks like a decent guide (and possibly what I used originally) to do it:

Follow the links from there to figure out more info. Can't recall a 100% what my daily driver is, but I believe my favorite is the D2F-01 (150g) for a very nice strong tactile feel. For reference, stock was 60g, iirc. So do 75g if you want a more stock-like feel, but for me the 150 feels great.
It's a little tricky, working with such small solder, at least it was for me, having only basic tools from RadioShack from way back when. I think I did end up cooking one of the circuit boards before figuring it out. However, the payoff was very nice to me: a far better feeling mouse.
