Quick tidbit on this monitor. Using it right now and it's freaking awesome...but it's buggy and prone to failure. Google search 'G95SC black screen'. Samsung came out and replaced the entire screen after it just went 'black' after 8 months of usage. Even after the replacement, when gaming it still goes to a black screen once in a while and needs to be turned off/on when playing games. And yes, I've tried different Display Port and HDMI cables, firmware, nvidia drivers, etc.

Same happened to me but sadly they wouldn't replace it because mine was 2 years old. Samsung support pretty much told me, "sorry but we can't help" I've taken it to 3 shops so far and all 3 have told me they don't work on monitors of this size... so I have a huge paperweight at the moment. Frown

Never had OLED and don't know if they didn't have this set up correctly but when I saw this monitor the other day at BestBuy text quality was just abhorrent...
I think they didn't set it up correctly. I've been using this monitor for work and gaming for almost a year. There is no issue with the text; the color is amazing, and the OLED monitor doesn't create much heat like the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 that I used to have.

If you don't have EPP it's $989 right now on Amazon, and if you have the Amazon chase card, it qualifies for 10% cash back vs 5%, making it roughly the same cost. If you have the asurion Amazon warranty sub, it is covered under that as well.

Limited-time deal for Prime Members: SAMSUNG 49" Odyssey G93SC Series OLED Curved Gaming Monitor, 240Hz, 0.03ms, Dual QHD, DisplayHDR True Black 400, FreeSync Premium Pro, Height Adjustable Stand, LS49CG932SNXZA, 2023 https://a.co/d/9StAxVX

*Edit* Nvm. This is the g93sc, op's is g95sc. Per google:

"The Samsung Odyssey G95SC and the Samsung 49" Odyssey G93SC are both 49-inch OLED monitors. The G95SC has smart TV and hub functionality, while the G93SC does not. The G95SC also has a higher PPI than the G93SC."

Looks like Amazon removed the 10% cb offer for Amazon cards.

Great balance for work and gaming! Plus it's smart, so don't need a separate TV in my office when just chilling.

so just as an update from my previous post. The tech came today and replaced both pcb boards. unfortunately, same issues arise (display port alt tab out the screen goes black and stays black even when the pc is running). They are going to try and replace the board again but I'm going to try and get samsung to replace the monitor. At this point, I think it's a firmware issue with the monitor.

I believe so also. Mine has been acting up on game launch and also when exiting the game. Very annoying
