Still Onkyo RZ30 and RZ50 is better compared to this , I am sharing for those who are looking for budget 9.2
Well if you mean sonically better, good luck hearing a significant difference between them especially with the RZ50 costing an extra $350 ime.
Imo the only real reason to go with the RZ50 is if you needed 11 channels.
If only 9 needed then the RZ30 may be worth the $100 IF you needed pre outs,independent sub outs,access to Dirac's subwoofer/bass RC(DLBC) & maybe 2.1a.
If not, then spending $100 for something you won't use doesn't make much sense imo.
Budget wise, the Integra DRX3.4 deal for $570 was the way to go.
Unfortunately that sale hasn't come back in around a year & very unlikely to return imo.

Everything has gone up including this receiver.
You were able to get this unit for around $550 around a year ago.
