I have great experience with vipoutlet. They have their website and sell from different platforms. You can buy where you have lower price. They have active customer service as well.
I bought few diff products from them before and all arrived in almost new and woked well.

Mine came pretty much brand new with 3 battery cycles. I know few ppl had battery issues but there were many good units as well. I wouldn't mind ordering again, especially this product. Worst come worst, returns are easy if u have a wm close by. Even if u don't, they offer free return shipping labels. You may have to wait a week or so for ur refund when shipping it back.

I just got it. Some superficial scratches outside but screen is clean. I say 9.5 out of 10. I tried to update the purchase date and get 1 full yeaf warranty. I called Apple and uploaded the proof of purchase but they refused to uodate it because the macbook was sold to Walmart in 2024. Since it was over 90 days since it waa sold to the retailer, Walmart has to update with the Apple the consumer purchase date. Since it was sold by the third party, I thought I was out of luck but keep it without warranty since it was a good deal. The battery cycle was only 3. However, upon upgrade to Tahoe 26.3, the warranty now shows 1 full year. So those who got it and show it expired and upload proof of purchase, just activate the macbook and check the warranty later. Thanks for the deal!

By the way, open box is eligible for a full 1 year warranty. Thisnis my 3rd time buying open box items. I am always told no with the initial customer rep but second time with a different customer rep worked.

This macbook is very nice and fast with Tahoe 26.3. The price sure beats the new budget macbook to be released next month.

Mine just came in. I've had bad luck with open box and "like new" items before, but this one is truly spotless. Battery Health at 100% with 1 cycle! Super clean, and looks absolutely brand new. I have not yet updated the OS but hopefully after the upgrade to Tahoe it will show active coverage as woowon reported (I have not signed into my Apple ID yet since I wanted to make sure it was working fine, the coverage check said to sign in and update the purchase date). Super happy at this price point (I know, old model, 8GB RAM, small SSD, etc.)

Search apple warranty coverage check then Copy and paste your serial number in your iphone and upload the receipt. Even if you have not registered your macbook in your account, you can still upload the proof using your iphone and serial number only. You dont need to sign in your macbook.

I received mine yesterday. The laptop is literally new, with 2 battery cycles and no scratches or marks anywhere on the machine. Upgraded to Sequoia without any issues. It shows a full one-year warranty until Feb 2026 and 60 days to add Apple Care. Super happy with the purchase. Very nice computer for a real bargain price

came in basically new (but didn't have the paper protectors/seals). 3 cycles on the 100% battery. October 26 apple care. did a wipe/clean install with sequoia --probably shouldn't trust an unsealed machine you don't personally wipe and reinstall.

Must use the built in apple "Support" app. Its automatically offers the upload link. If you don't see it just activate it and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. Only found a Support app on my old iPhone, but it behaved as it did in a browser. No biggie. For 14 bat cycles and no scuffs or blemishes, I'm good sticking on Sequoia for the price.
