I bought the same deal 2 years ago. It's $200 with tax. I kept the kit and ratchet.

I just ordered this and the online order bundled the combo kit and ratchet. Will I have any issues if i return it right there and then?

Did the hack using the free battery and got it for $164. Great price. Wish it was the fuel ratchet I would have kept it.

It's even cheaper than the previous battery "hack" but I'll still pass. They're just too weak, and not even that much smaller than modern 20V. No surprise DeWalt dropped the 12V line, the 20V tools have gotten so compact there's barely any size or weight advantage anymore, especially with the new 1.7Ah PowerStack DeWalt batteries. I think 12V lines have every chance of going extinct in the near future with such technological development
