Productivity is very subjective. Old school .exes, you're better off with Windows, but if you're not living in the 90s, most things run in a browser these days.

They are offered by completely different company. They are going to run parallel. Apple won't care even if you have 10 other warranty.

Yes, generally true for all open boxes. But I am not sure about apple because it's 🍎. But definitely worth a trip (well, assume you have to do in store pickup anyway)

They extend 24m on the highest warranty received upon purchase. Apple care begins from the date of purchase so it's wasted if you do 1y since mfr warranty is already 12m. Doing 2y gives you 24m of coverage. Citi will then double your warranty so you'd have 4y of coverage.

It goes like this:
Original Mfr (12m) , apple care (24m), citi 24m.

What Is the Longest Extended Warranty Protection for My Purchase?

Seven years. In order to get seven years of protection you must be certain your purchase is covered by the manufacturer warranty as well as Costco's Concierge protection. The next three years will be covered by purchasing extended warranty coverage from Allstate, and finally you can top off coverage for the final two years, for a grand total of seven years if you make your purchase with your qualifying Costco Citi credit card.
