Alan doesn't run, he walks slowly with a flashlight.
FYI, this isn't the 14.5" OLED version you seem to have, this is the larger 16" version with IPS 1920x1200. That's part of why it's so much cheaper than the ~$1200 the 14.5" is currently selling for.
Nice, but yearly membership fee is $49 :-(((

I was referring to the Asus laptop deal not the cyberpower.
Oh. That was weeks back, wasn't it? Slipped my mind.

I bought this laptop put a second SSD 4x4 1TB and two sticks of 16gb DDR5 4800 cl 34 RAM and it has run every game I've thrown at it on high and ultra settings, I was able to score it for 648$ open box at bestbuy. I love this laptop for the price!

How well would this run Starfield? Native performance as well as maybe on a 1440p monitor.
Don't run Starfield. It's a total mess

I have this laptop and playing starfield on it lately. You need to drop res to 1920x1200 to get decent frame rates. I play on medium settings and get around 70 fps on planets and 80 while flying.

The problem with these 14.5" oleds is that there's no adaptive sync so there's some tearing. It's not horrible with v sync on but it's there. So you either choose a g14 with some light bleed but no tearing or a slim 5 with oled beauty but with tearing.
This is a 16" WUXGA, not an oled.

Performance will be okay. Probably be better off finding a 3070ti or 4060ti or better if you wanna do some decent gaming, and sticking to 1080p you'll have decent frames. I have an x15 r2 with the 3070ti and it will play anything I throw at it with high frames at 1080p.

No, the 3070 ti has better performance overall. In the past the X60 cards offered decent budget performance but since the 3-series the x60ti were a massive jump from the x60.

Just picked up the Slim 7 R9 6900hx 6800S from Best Buy for $860 OTd…… this almost looks better but I'm not sure entirely. I'd at least get a few cuda cores lol.

Without Frame Generation, the 3070 Ti is roughly 10-15% faster than the 4060.

6-8%... plus the 4060 consumes less power, frame generation is nice, and... I wonder if someday there will be a way to hack it with a 4060 desktop bios so it will actually run at 140W.

I purchased an Acer Predator Helios 300 (i7 10750H 6 core 12 threads) with RTX 2060 6GB.
If you haven't undervolted your CPU and GPU, I'd highly recommend that. +10% performance inprovement at least. OC the vram as much as possible.

The most trustworthy source there is Jarrod, IMO, who has it at around 13% (69 vs 60 FPS). Notebookcheck doesn't seem to differentiate between different wattage GPUs of the same model, and Userbenchmark is famously unreliable.

Jarrod has it <8% at 1080p... which I think is where most people will be playing newer games. I'd pick a 4060 over a 3070 Ti anyway, if the laptops were otherwise the same.
