I have great experience with vipoutlet. They have their website and sell from different platforms. You can buy where you have lower price. They have active customer service as well.
I bought few diff products from them before and all arrived in almost new and woked well.

Mine came pretty much brand new with 3 battery cycles. I know few ppl had battery issues but there were many good units as well. I wouldn't mind ordering again, especially this product. Worst come worst, returns are easy if u have a wm close by. Even if u don't, they offer free return shipping labels. You may have to wait a week or so for ur refund when shipping it back.

So, an intel-branded, under-powered, space heater?
Why give someone trouble like that?

Is there a way to get a refund of the difference for those of us that bought at $346 for the same item?
Check previous thread, answer seems to be no

Chiming in on the laptop rather than the seller, I still use my M1 Air since 2020 for business, and it's still handling everything I throw at it very smoothly. if you get this laptop with Mac OS 26 installed, I would recommend downgrading to Sequoia instead. It will be much smoother. As for the warranty, I had similar situations where I bought open-box Apple devices and then sent Apple the receipt, and they activated their one-year warranty without asking any questions. YMMV.
This right here.

Bottom Line Up Front: it's an exceptionally capable machine, even 6 years later. You'll be HARD PRESSED to find a better machine for cheaper.

Ugly & Bad First: I'd love to see the 16gb/512gb go on sale for this price point...but 256gb storage is entirely usable depending on your needs. However, if you are anything but a light user, you'll quickly hit the 8gb RAM upper ceiling. It has support for ONLY one external monitor. No fan, so if you hammer the CPU, you'll quickly thermally throttle it (they call it "passively cooled", I call it "cheap").

Good & Excellent Second: It's their ultrabook with excellent hardware...yet it's so-called ENTRY-LEVEL...but don't let that fool you. It's much higher quality than anyone else's entry-level. You can spend a LOT more for generic mid-tier machines for Windows while getting worse hardware. The MBA's keyboard, trackpad, and screen are all excellent-tier. Build quality is excellent. The CPU, being their entry-level first-gen M1, is still more than enough for all but the most serious users (if you're a 4K-8K video editor, find a different machine. if you're an LLM developer, find a different job and a different machine).

Source: I use the M1 Air w/ 16gb/1tb ssd, purchased in Nov. 2022. I do frequently max out the RAM (and hit the swap like it owes me money), but everything else about it is fine. I paid roughly $1200 back then for mine. This being a ~$300 machine, you can do far worse if you're not a heavy user. If you need more, I'd suggest looking at the M4 Air with 16gb/256gb ssd, with a starting price of (sale)$750/(msrp)$1000.

I am running openclaw on something similar if anyone is looking at this for that purpose
Nice! Any idea if Mac does anything better for openclaw rather than a mini pc?

FYI, although this is an old model (2021?)...it is the last of the original aluminum machined chassy in the "wedge" format. Solid and unique I have one running fine even now and the new models just feel cheap.

Yes, but you have to uninstall openclaw.

Aside from the aesthetic condition, how else are you checking for quality on these? Sounds like you can look at battery cycles - presumably in the battery stats under settings. And I guess you can find factory warranty info somewhere in the settings as well? Anything else to check?
You could also check the hard drive smart stats to see how much has been read and written to the SSD.

disagree. I got airpod pro's 2 from them several years ago... and they're still holding up perfectly.
Maybe they were good then. But they have 1735 negative reviews on ebay in the last month alone at the moment. And a lot of those complaints are for open box items being actually visibly used, or missing accessories, or even sending completely wrong items. Way too much risk there for me to order from them.

Netbooks used to cost this much. It's more than enough power for 95% of the users even at this age. Only consideration is how long supported.

Anyone who says differently is either a power user (possible) or doesn't know that they are talking about.
