However, what I didn't know, and wasn't highlighted in many Youtube reviews I watched, was the coil whine. It's listed in quite a few online reviews after digging into it. You will notice the coil whine when the 6700S is under load. If you are gaming, not a big deal because the fans will kick in and drown it out and you are wearing headphones anyway. But if you using this for creative editing, you could well hear it and it's a deal breaker for a lot of people.
They list things like turning on the keyboard backlights or plugging a USB device to fix it, but none of those work for me. Mine has a manufacture date of 11/2022 so it might have worked for older ones.
I am keeping mine because it's an amazing machine and has insane battery life on the go. I can deal with coil whine.
Just something to be aware of.

Very comfortable form factor and weight as for gaming laptop, not even talking about software. Usually first task to do with new laptop was reinstalling windows... Not this time
P. S Is it possible to get backup file for this system
$823 fair
$864 excellent
Or NO DEAL 🙅🏽 ♂️
Huge learning curve mastering numerous details but can't be happier. Now converted everyone in the household to a Mac.
Despite these issues that some may consider deal-breaking......I love this laptop. It's a productivity machine during the day and gaming machine at night. I purchased a $20 laptop cooling fan on Amazon and now I don't have the overheating problem. Fan noise doesn't bother me too much. I love that this is able to play modern AAA games with great graphical fidelity. I highly recommend.
Also, there's a 20% off with certain credit cards from Best Buy. Had it on my Chase Freedom. So it'll be about 200 less, give or take.
Specs seem much better. Probably just gonna sell my old(ish) Dell G15 for this.

The build quality otherwise feels extremely premium like a MacBook. I love the keyboard and the white color way. I had a great time playing StarCraft 2 on it back then. The screen is super nice and smooth for a laptop. Overall, not good for work but decent in a workstation I guess.

But mine was a total lemon that deteriorated over a few months and is now in Best Buy's shop with a 3 week+ timeline on when I'll get it back.
Color had a very purple ting to it out of the box. Heavily purple. I set a custom color profile but could not get it to stick no matter what I did. I would have to manually re-select it every time the computer slept. Found lots of other people with the same issue online.
Computer also wouldn't wake from sleep fairly regularly and would have to do a hard reset. Again, lots of people with the same issue online.
Wifi card is REALLY bad. Plan to replace it. Works fine if you're close to the router, but even a little ways away my connection was an order of magnitude slower than other laptops I had nearby, which of course is not ideal for gaming.
Then finally it just went nuts. Would reboot after a few minutes in windows. Wouldn't boot up sometimes. Sometimes would boot with artifacts all over the screen. Fan would get stuck on full blast with no way to disable it. Brought it to Best Buy (Asus requires going through them if bought there) and when guy was doing the report to send to Asus he just said "I'm just going to put that this thing has freaking issues, lol".
It's one heck of a sexy laptop though. It definitely feels premium. Keyboard and trackpad are great. I'm hoping when I get it back the issues will be resolved but it's been a major headache so far. It seems like Asus' proprietary software and Windows just don't play well together and they keep overwriting each other's settings every time you reboot or sleep.
ETA: The white color is beautiful but it does seem to get stained/scratched easily. Just sliding it in and out of a backpack a few times the white top had smudges that didn't come off easily.
Laptops I've Tried
Legion 7 Slim - AMD 6900HS + AMD 6800S Video Card - Bought for $1264 even though it's like $1950 MSRP/ Returned it
Runs Cool, Powerful, Larger Screen
Cons
The Powerbrick is huge! It's much heavier. Performance was almost the same as the Zephyrus G14 with 6700s. I didn't notice any difference in games and even benchmarks The screen had a lot of IPS Glow.
Alienware X14 - Intel i7 + Nvidia 3060
It's a beautiful laptop, but the keyboard on the G14 is better. Also, battery life is better on the G14 because Alienware used Intel processors.
Zephyrus M16 - Intel i7 + Nvidia 3060
Powerful laptop but has less battery life. Also, everyone I tried had terrible IPS Glow.
HP Omen 16 - Intel Processor + Nvidia 3060
The screen wobbles like crazy. Returned it because of that.
