If you go back through SD searching for deals on GLOOMHAVEN (A monster of a game) you'll see a LOT of people snagged it for $75-85 at various times. I think retail is $149 and you can buy it for $100-120 pretty regularly. It's a large game (literally 21 lbs and also figuratively) that takes months if not a year or two to play. It was the #1 game on BoardGameGeek for multiple years with good reason, but here's the kicker... I know some people buy Gloomhaven and it sits there. In their house. On a shelf, or in a cabinet. Some people open it, or watch gameplay tutorials, or just need someone to teach them. Learning to play GH is a steep hill, which is too bad because it's fun. But for a lot of folks, it is the centerpiece of the "Shelf of Shame."
Enter GLOOMHAVEN: JAWS OF THE LION. This is a sleek, streamlined Gloomhaven that has all the feel of the original game. This box has about 30 new scenarios (The full GH is closer to 100), and packs WAYYY more value inside than you'd expect. But most importantly: Where Gloomhaven is a learning curve of going up a cliff, JOTL (for short) is a nice on-ramp to the GH highway. It will take you through scenario after scenario, starting with the most basic of the basics. It's like having a friend guide you. It then adds another couple of rules. Before you know it, you ARE playing Gloomhaven. Hopefully this helps someone!

At under $20, this may be the best value in all of strategy games

Thanks for the info! How is it for just 2 players?
I played the original game with 4 players , and I can say that while the game took longer with more people, I tend to enjoy it just because we have more varied strategy.
This is purely subjective as I see board game playing as my "social" activity, since normally I wouldn't have go out just to hang out with people. But game mechanic wise, I don't see any problem with just 2 people, since the game itself scale based on number of players.

I need to try that app looks like. Haven't heard of it before. Reg dice I must have forgotten about it. It's been that long lol. But movement is a combo of one number and that red blue diaper. Forgot what's it called
