I own this Asus. Even though it looks good on paper, it's not great. Battery life is subpar, it's heavy AF, and there are constant glitches with the touchscreen where touches on the display lag or won't register at all.

Thank you! Got an open box excellent shipping for $613+tax. Also my old macbook was evaluated $100+ more at best buy than Apple for trade in, making the deal sweeter. Just curious though, does anyone know how BB charge tax with trade in? Is it going to be net cost as tax basis or full new product price? Thanks

good deal, but 8gb of memory is way too low in this day and age I think. I wish I bought the 16gb model.

No. Typically opened by someone and returned. Bestbuy has a 14 day return policy so likely very little use and apple care likely in tact. IMO, I won't be surprised if these were still new and shrink wrapped removed since they are warehouse shipped. Apple has to dump all the sitting m1s somewhere since they refuse to do markdowns.

Twice the RAM doesnt mean twice as fast and in many cases, 16 gb on a window is on par with 8 gb on the m1 Mac due to hardware software optimization.
