Can have multiple browsers open, remote session, word, excel, and never have an issue.
It's on the second you open it, and the battery lasts all day
I use my air 95% of the time just because of the convenience and power it delivers even though i have more powerful macbook pro sitting next to it (work sponsored otherwise i was not looking to replace 3 year old m1 air).

I own a Mac Air and previously owned a Pro. I've never bought any other Apple products and don't intend to either. Money has a time value, and I'm not interested in giving Apple my money today for a credit when I buy a new laptop in a year or two.
I'm hoping this is still on in 7-10 days. Capital One has $200 off $500 spent in first 3 months for QuickSilver. Would bring this down to $450-500
I've bought at least 15 Macs with EDU discounts and NEVER ever was asked to verify when I go do pick up at the stores. They DO NOT CARE.

I personally would not buy a macbook with less that 16gb ram. The performance drops off a cliff once apps start being more ram thirsty and it's not upgradable.
